FJKluth Gallery

The FJ Kluth Art Gallery started across the river in an old Greek-Revival building. Originally called the Open Space Gallery, it moved across the river when the building was torn down to make way for the Sheetz gas station. It found a new home on North Water Street in an early 1900’s building owned by John Kuhar. We believe the building once housed the Speed Recorder company that tracked train times to prevent collisions. In 2022, we opened a large wall for art and began hosting regular art exhibitions.

Our mission is threefold:

  1. Raise the consciousness of art in our community about the value of art, both in the monetary sense and in the art appreciation sense. Artists work hard and they deserve to be paid for their work.
  2. Promote local and regional artists. We exist to support the artist community and to promote and sell their work.
  3. Encourage the community to make art through free and paid art workshops, DIY art stations and donations to charity art auctions.
