“Aeneus Encourages Pandarus” is painting ten out of twelve in the “Pandarus Broke the Truce – A Tale from the Iliad of Homer” series by Koen Satyawan based on a sketch by Frederick John Kluth. Aeneus encourages Pandarus. Aeneus found Pandarus on the field. Pandarus shot his arrows to the mark, but they did not bring their quarry down. He blamed the gods for this result so stark. Aeneus put Pandarus in his car, a chariot with fast horses noble, to speed toward Diomedes to fight. Pandarus chose a spear for battle.
