Snow White Meets the Dwarfs
Painting six out of fourteen in The Trial of Queen Vergeblich, The Stepmother of Snow White series.
We came home from our mine to find someone had entered our house. The door was ajar, and our food pantry was disturbed. We entered the house and looked around. We found a girl the Queen had been mean to, and she was hiding from her. We were determined to protect her. Everyone knew and loved Snow White because she was so kind and beautiful. So we told her she could stay with us. She said she was willing to help out if she could. She immediately worked on cooking for us and made delicious meals. She also began to clean our house, planted a garden for vegetables, and read to us in the evening from books that we got in the market in town. Life turned pleasant. Snow White’s help made it much easier for us to do our mining. We had to leave her alone, so we told her not to let anyone in the house.
