Distorted Portrait of a Friend by Hope Hickman is one of the forty-three works of art currently on display at the FJKluth Art Gallery’s exhibition, Sketchbook Creative – Casual Creations.

Currently Hope’s interests lie at the intersection of mathematics and philosophy. She is particularly interested in the way humans form meaning and how individuals deal with a lack of meaning. Her academic background is in applied and pure mathematics.
